Ok - So I had a pre safety done on my new/old purchase. The damage was not bad.  
 
Now this vehicle has through several ownership changes. Yet it was dinged for no day time running lights.  
 
Mermory wise I thought they came into Canada in 89??. Anyways -this vehicle was Quebec bought in 1994 brand new. It has a MPH Odometer km second.  
 
I was told this has passed safeties before because this model did not have that equipment installed in 1994 when made- thus its not a requirement.  
 
Who best to check here. Phone the dealer ?? call the office responsible for safeties and get paper work to give to the shop where the safety will be finished??  
 
I want to keep it short and simple - no headaches/paper searches etc for all involved!  
 
I do mind the hoops I just do not want to put anyone else through the hoop jumping( the shop especially)  
 
It does mean I am 100 bucks closer to getting this critter on the road if I do not need the daytimers!! I may put them on later though-one step at a time!
