Can someone help me? Deductibles

I was recently involved in a minor accident. Plus, I had seperate claim for a cracked windshield. This left me with (2) $100 deductibles. The mechanic is claiming that with taxes I am up to a $400 some deductible. The vehicle is registered as a company vehicle, which means I will be paying the GST.
Is PST also part of deductible cost? Can someone explain how my cost came to that amount? What can I do if in fact I am being cheated?
