New Brakes, now there is humming noise! Help!

So I replaced my break pads and rotors on the front of my vehicle Monday. Now there is a humming noise when I drive my car. Is this normal because the rotors are new? It may seem like a funny question, but sorry, I am not mechanically inclined!
