Just wondering if someone who recently got there class 3 licence with/without air could let me know what the process is for doing this.  
 
I looked on the Mpi website and I understand that you have to get a medical, and there is also a written and practical part to it.  
 
What I am wondering is once you do the written does that give you like a learner's licence or how does it work. And as far as the practical goes, where do you go to get experience driving a truck like this if you are not already employed at a job with them? And also where would you get a truck to do the test with?  
 
The reason I want to get it is for employment. There seems to be a few jobs lately with this as the requirement, and it is something I am interested in pursuing.
