I was cleaning my car and I sprayed "Spray Nine" on the front windshield of my car to remove the bugs and sap. It dried before I washed it off. Now I have a milky stain/streaks all over my window that I can't remove! I have tried soap and water, windex, nail polish remover, Goo Gone, more spray nine, but nothing has had any affect. HELP! Any suggestions????

I do auto detailing, and have had new chemicals sometimes give us awful results!! pm me if you want me to look at it, from the sounds of it, its something I had happen, and I ended up polishing it off.

Yep there is lessons to be learned. Spray nine works on front bumpers well. Windows nope.  
 
A heavy duty glass cleaner ( not Windex) is where I would start.  
 
Just thinking. Start with Mr clean. It works wonders on bugs on glass. Spray it off within minutes. Use a microfiber cloth to dry.  
 
Then attack the bugger with a specific glass cleaner. Not multi surface. Spray foam! Lots of cleaner and lots of rubbing. In this case a microfiber cloth is okay but the best final clean is good old newspaper.  
 
Cheap but effective. David's polishing sounds good. Just never ran into a coating or crap on a windshield that needed it.

Thank goodness.... I have results! My husband used the "Cerama Bryte" glass-ceramic cooktop cleaner.... the residue came right off.  
Thank you David Lesack for coming over to look at it and offering your services to buff it off. Thankfully, it wasn't required!

Get a "scrubbie "... made of nylon netting. I crochet them for my nephews & they use them on their semi's windows, etc.

when done makes for very clear windows, and good laughs. Did it on a old dirty truck and while admiring my handiwork with side windows up a friend tried to stick his head in the truck to see if his wallet was between the seats, laid him out on the parking lot I laughed he cursed all around a good day.
