Does anyone know someone who does window tinting on the side? I'm looking for someone who does good work to do a cash deal.

Ask for Brian Fidler, does great work.

Point going to the shops in town . They won't tint to what most want . I too would like to know of anyone that does it on the side .

Can you clarify what you mean by "They won't tint to what most want"? Not saying I agree or disagree, just don't know what you mean.

Tint shops tint to what is LEGAL not what you want! Unless you just want to throw it in the trash when they test it and find out it's not in the legal range.  
 
Then you'll go back to the shop and want your money back for making it to dark in the first place.

Legal limit is 50% and tint shops wont go any darker. 50% isn't worth the money to me, it looks bad.  
 
I wan't 35% its the darkest you can go without getting pulled over for it. No cop is going to pull you over for 35%, but if you're asking to get pulled over you may get dinged for it.

Regulations vary from front side windows to back side windows to back windows.

If u go to Nevada or Arizona everyone has there windows tinted it keeps them from getting really hot inside should be aloud here not blacked out tint but a good dark tint

Is right . I wanted 35 but they would only go 50 % I got it done and it was a waste of 120 bucks . If u want it darker I would go to wpg as they have lots of shops that will do what u want .

Don't forget that the factory glass is already tinted to some degree and if you get it too dark, you will end up taking it off. Not to mention your vehicle won't pass a safety if you try to sell it. Noticed BPS has some light meters in their cars now. Saw them testing a car.

Unfortunately we tinters did not set the laws, if we had any say 35% would be the legal limit for front doors. But yes it is 50%. The reprocussion for having illegal tint is a ticket, a fine, removal, etc...and as far as no one getting pulled over for 35%....I'm changing vehicles from 35 to 50 all the time because they have been pulled over and tested. All we can do as shops is offer a quality install with quality guaranteed film, sorry.

I guess you should be thankful for all the shops in Wpg willing to do illegal mods for getting you extra work when corrections need to be done. Perhaps the payoff for being reputable. Keep up the good work.
