Was just wanting reviews on RED TEK A/C Refrigerant Recharge Kit from ct did it work any issues after using how long have you been using it for

but not enough to really be any hazard. If the system is damaged in an accident it dissipates instantly, not running on the road like gasoline.

I've been repairing and servicing automotive A/C units for over 30 years. I've chosen not to use hydrocarbon based refrigerants because of the potential problems with fire or explosions.

I've never heard of a real life situation where a fire or explosion has occurred, but the potential is there. The condenser of an A/C system (in front of the radiator) can see pressures of over 400 psi. A front end collision could create the right conditions for a disaster that I wouldn't want to be responsible for.

It's been banned for automotive use in some areas for a reason.

fargobob is right. I have been a service technician for 34 years and would never use this product. Once you put that in your a/c system it is expensive to switch back. You would need all the lines flushed and drier replaced as a start. Why not fix the leak and use what is meant to be in your system.
