Hello, I was told awhile back about a place close to Murray's?? You can take your vehicle there and they will asses it and search an 850 km radius for the going price for you specific make and model. Then they tell you what they'd pay and you have 7 days to accept? I'm not 100% sure if I have that right or not but I'm looking into selling my car and I'd like to maybe look into this option! Anyone know what it's called? Or have any experience with this place!

Like Marshall motors which is in behind murrays. I've heard good things about them.

I wouldn't recommend selling a car this way. They may search out the "going price" for your vehicle, but that price will almost surely be what they would expect to sell it for, and of course they would offer you considerably less.

Yes! That's the right place. I understand classified it makes sense. I've heard some good things about them. And I'm not really to sure I want to sell my car yet it's just a thought at the moment so I'd been defiantly taking advantage of the 7 days they give you accept the offer. And I know what my car is worth roughly and won't take anything less than what I feel comfortable with. They say it's free so it's worth a look. Hopefully they give me a good assessment because I understand buying and selling and I know they have to make money off of it to so iv taken that into consideration when deciding on a price I'd be comfortable with.

Basically all they are doing is seeing what the asking price of a similar vehicle is selling for online. Which everyone can do. Just search autotrader or kijiji and you will get an idea. But also that doesn't mean the price you will get either.  
 
They will then offer you a price to take your car, likely safety it and then advertise it and sell it. All of which costs money, sometimes a lot. If you don't like the offer you can counter and maybe come to an agreement. If you don't like the ask then go and sell the car on your own. After all they are a business and they need to make more then a couple hundred bucks or it just isn't profitable. If you don't want to sell it yourself you aren't going to get the top dollar for what your vehicle is worth.
