on 10th & Lorne between 200 block & 300 block for the last 2 months there has been no marking of car tires or tickets & now today they are marking tires . Wonder what that's about anyone know ?

Could be a few things ... someone complained to bylaw enforcement, they just move to different areas at different times, who knows?

Maybe the officer was on holidays.

Maybe it's because students are coming back and there's lots of apartments around there were people park on the street.

Maybe someone complained.

Maybe they have and you haven't noticed.

Maybe they just feel like it.

Instead of marking the vehicle tires with chalk they now use a paper clip laid on the tires.

What is the purpose of this question? If it is a zone where there is limited parking, there is the possibility of that being enforced. People should obey the parking signs at all times.

If you haven't noticed. But once school days are up and running or close to it. The marking of tires will start.

They are probably enforcing the 48 hour rule for parking in spot on a city street rather than posted parking bylaws.
