I just wanted to send my apologies out there, not sure if the people I affected will even see this lol  
 
We were turning left onto 18th street from Braecrest going towards Walmart. As if waiting in the line up wasn't bad enough, you had to get stuck behind me!! When I turned, a book fell off the dash and all of sudden I had no power and couldn't get moving. I pulled off to the side as quick as I could with my hazards on and realized the car had been put into neutral. We're not sure if the book is to blame or if my husband accidentally hit the gear shift (is that the right word??) when he tried to catch the book.  
 
Anyways, my apologies for the "accident" and thank you to those behind me who were paying attention and didn't rear end us!! It could have been worse!

Just like the person that drove the wrong way down Rosser. Accidents happen. =)

It wasn't the book - if the shifter was on the steering column and the book hit the top of the shifter in a downward motion, the car would probably have shifted to a lower, forward moving, gear if it did anything.

Ours is in the middle console area. I think the book came down and than fell forwards to the floor and knocked gear down instead of up?
