I am thinking of cheaping out on a Canadain Tire command start system. I know that saying "you get what you pay for" but has anyone have anything good or bad to say about it? including having them install it..

not even close. was closer to 700$ installed. Extreme electronics was right up there too. Canadain tire is was less the then half that installed..

not sure why its so expensive for my vehicle. I know tv city is good we had them installed in our courtesy cars. they are good just to expensive for me

Canadian Tire sells Prostart. Prostart is one of the biggest names in remote starters. Believe it or not I was one of C. Tire's first installs back in ?1990 and I've had Prostart ever since In a dozen vehicles with no problem ever. HOWEVER I haven't had them do an install in years. Too much turnover in staff there I think. I wait until they go on sale and get one and have it installed by Harry at Minute Muffler. He's done ?hundreds over the years and does a great job.  
EDIT: Get the two way system. They work from a greater distance and it communicates back to you on the fob. Like I say, wait till they go on sale.
