I'm in need of some help  
 
I changed the battery in my command start fob - after market unit.  
But now the lock/unlock and panic buttons on my keys don't work.  
I have 3 keys, and none work now. I have to use the key in the door to unlock, and then the factory alarm goes off.  
 
I've tried reprogramming my keys and it doesn't work. I've tried taking the battery out of the command start fob to see if that's interfering with the. That didn't work.  
It's not battery issues, as I've checked those too.  
 
 
Any ideas?!

I can't use the buttons on the keys to unlock/lock anymore.

when you say you tried reprogramming your keys and that didn't work, did you mean the keys wouldn't take the programming or that they did but it didn't solve the original problem? If the keys won't reprogram, it sounds like your Ford security system has faulted and is basically in a lock-out mode. As it's an after-market command start, it may need to be reset also.  
 
You can try disconnecting the main battery and leaving it w/o power for at least 15 minutes to get a reset. If that doesn't work, you may have to do a forced reset.

Hi,this is just a temporary thing,i have done it and it works..take the fob apart on the inside of the rubber part where the unlock and lock buttons are glue pieces of tin foil to the rubber put it back together and it should work fine..good luck..

Take it to the chrysler dealer west of Murrays and he will fix it in a flash
