Person still going around scamming, the email was sarah_b879@outlook.com and the cell phone number was +1 (803) 470-6446 from South Carolina, claiming to send a money order and someone else to pick it up. Be careful what info you give out to people.

..anything with a significant price tag on it, there will most likely be scammers e-mailing you. My husband and I have experienced this numerous times!! Thankfully we know how to spot a scammer, so we did not fall for their antics! But for people unaware of what is out there, please be sure to make your personal information safe and secure!

a scammer sent me a Bank of Montreal draft.

I showed it to the BOM people. They said I had to cash it at my bank.  
I showed it ti Scotiabank. They also said I had to cash it.  
 
Neither bank would check it out first.  
They want the fee charged for bouncing a bad cheque.  
 
I know enough to spot a bad cheque myself.  
 
The scammer kept calling. I told the scammer that I cashed the cheque.  
"send your man over" Bring photo ID.  
 
I was selling a boat. They said they were shipping it to Belgium.  
 
How stupid is that? No one ever showed up.  
 
The cheque came from Great Britain. They spent a fair bit on a stamp for that.
