The price of oil is still wayyyy down….$42.87 a barrel last time I checked. So why on earth did gas jump to 99.9 per litre (in our small town, not sure what the price is in Brandon?) and why isn't everyone yelling their heads off about this?  
Gas has been really high all summer in comparison to the price of oil, but we all just roll over and pay it!  
People…we need a revolution…lol!

have nothing to do with the price of a barrel of oil. The old excuses of oil prices, distance to haul, supply and demand etc. no longer apply.  
 
The price is set by the oil companies at whatever price they want. Government could do something but then they would miss out on income taxes and higher unemployment created by lower prices, so really it is a waste of time worrying about it. Also since it has nothing to do with core inflation rates government don''t really give a s**t.

Do you think the price that Canadians pay for fuel has anything to do with the devalued cdn dollar?

I read these comments and smh - when you compare what we pay for 1 litre of gas to the cost of 1 litre of Timmies Coffee - I wonder what the heck people are thinking???  
 
We are still paying less today for gas than we did 1 year ago - maybe its time we stop spending senselessly on other items we consume/use - have you ever really compared prices of all things that you purchase - then prioritize your "Needs"????  
 
Maybe try looking at "costs" from another perspective. . .
