Hello.. Im looking for a reputable transission shop familiar with removing and rebuilding the 48re transmission in my 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4. Would like a build capable of high torque damands with a warranty worth investing my hard earned money.  
If you know of a good shop please let me know. Thanks

Did my 47re. After that I added 125+ hp and towed hard and it never missed a beat. I think driving technique goes a long way toward dependability.

They do great work and nice to support local. Trans tech out of Winnipeg does good work also.

I did talk to Lyons and their quote was very reasonable and turn around time was quick. But i just wasnt quite sold on their product and the warranty they offered was rather poor in my opinion. If they could build my transmission specific for my needs and garantee it will hold up then id be sold.  
Just wanna shop around and see what options i have and be confident in decision.

We run a fleet of Dodges. Every time we have granny problems, we take them to Lyons. Take It back for a checkup when they specify, and they've been excellent on warranty. Not a lot of re-work with Lyons. At other sites we use local granny shops, and I don't know that we are as satisfied as with lyons.  
 
We always get them to put a heavier duty granny in than what comes stock.

Never dealt with either of them so don't know how they are.Look into them and let us know.
