Got a JD F-935 mower with the 3cyl Yanmar diesel. Seems like nobody knows them well enough to troubleshoot a fuel issue. Most diesel shops and JD dealers don't seem to really work on them enough to know what to look for. Anybody out there that has experience with them?

Those engines are so awesome and darn near bullet proof.  
Perhaps you can list the symptoms of the engine?  
Most fuel issues with them are:  
-lift pump no longer pumping  
-fuel filter plugging  
-inoperative fuel shutoff solenoid  
-governor issues  
-lack of general maintenance  
 
Very rarely do the injectors or high pressure injection pump have issues.  
I'm curious if you already had the mower at a dealer of if you are speculating on what they would say...

...almost everything. It started with it dying after running an hour.. then worse till it died every 5 min.. At the time I had no idea where to start.. rebuilt injectors, put another pump body on with new barrels/plungers, new lift/primer pump. Didn't help. Then my dad had another mower that acted the same so he took it to diesel shop and they spent over $2000 and it didn't fix anything so he tackled it himself and found pick up tube in tank was bad and it worked good... So I tried bypassing the fuel tank all together and mine still won't work. Not sure if I got timing or something off or it has 2 problems or what...
