Used tires at tire shops?

I had a tire blow out on the highway yesterday. I have two new tires and I know I need two more, however funds are a little tight right now so I was hoping I could get a used one installed for a reasonable price until I am able to purchase two new ones. Are there tire shops in Brandon that sell and install used tires?

i got a couple really good used ones there this summer for sixty bucks mounted them myself but they would have done that too for a bit more can't remember the price but i don't think they will balance them. the two tires i got were just like new and they had lots to choose from some cheaper and everything from single tires to matched sets of two and four

I think KK Penner does, they are just west on highway 1 I think a mile past 18th/#1

We've had good luck getting used rubber at Westman Salvage too. Mounted on rims already, etc. We put them on ourselves.

We also buy off ebrandon, but it's harder to buy all-seasons off there. Winter tires usually are easier to find that way.

While buying used tires is fine, be sure to check the manufacture date on them. It is not recommended that tires after 10 years or older be used on the road.

On Highland Ave has a used tire division. I've had good luck getting singles and pairs there.

Used is okay if they are already mounted. Getting them mounted and balanced can cost as much as the tire.

If you do buy used get them to mount them. Odds are the tire may have a hole or issue they can solve with a replacement.

One outfit years back sold factory repaired tires. They repaired them alright. One of two holes was most common.
