Ignition lock cylinder problem

I got a problem with my ignition lock cylinder, my key goes only halfway the cylinder, it seems like something is broken inside. Can a locksmith repair it? Or do I need to replace the cylinder assembly? Any suggestions please. Thanks

Have you tried spraying A small amount of WD in it.
