Full-Time Customer Service Clerk
Boundary Co-op is hiring a Full-Time Customer Service Clerk at our Home Centre in Deloraine, Manitoba.

What you'll do:
Reporting to the Department Manager, the Customer Service Clerk will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations across Hardware, Liquor, and Gas Bar/C-Store departments, including the cardlock system. Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate behaviours that align with the Co-op's vision, mission, values, and commitment to safety.
- Deliver world-class customer service by greeting customers, handling inquiries, preparing orders, and resolving issues promptly.
- Operate POS systems and computerized cash registers to process transactions accurately and take payments.
- Run fuel pumps and manage propane services, including assisting customers with cardlock access.
- Assist with stocking inventory, pricing, and merchandising across all departments, ensuring displays meet company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in sales areas, storage spaces, and outdoor pump zones.
- Ensure compliance with liquor laws, fuel handling regulations, and safety protocols, maintaining Smart Choices, WHMIS, and propane training certifications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service and have:
- A Grade 12 education or a combination of relevant experience.
- Previous retail experience; hardware or fuel knowledge is an asset.
- Ability to operate computerized cash registers accurately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfortable working in varying conditions, including outdoor environments at pumps, propane stations, and cardlock areas.
- Action-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
- Honest, trustworthy, and results-driven, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
- A collaborative mindset, valuing teamwork and diverse perspectives to achieve shared goals.
