Job Summary

The CNC division is responsible for the production of a variety of parts for industrial applications and internal use. Most of the parts produced by this division are high volume production parts, but the division is also utilized to produce complex custom parts.

This role is responsible for ensuring efficient and high-quality production of CNC parts. This will involve utilizing the most efficient programs, tooling, and setup procedures. An in-depth knowledge of programming and CNC production is required for this position.

 

Responsibilities

-       Design effective machine setups and fixtures.

-       Modify existing programs to improve efficiency and part quality.

-       Ensure all parts meet quality standards.

-       Assist in quoting and production planning

Requirements

Experience ? Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC Machining.

Education ? Red Seal Machining Journeyman Certificate.

Skills ? The ideal applicant will possess the following skills:

-       Strong drawing interpretation skills.

-       Strong understanding of machining principles.

-       Ability to design CNC equipment setups.

-       Excellent CAM programming skills. Mastercam skills are highly desirable.

-       Ability to schedule and meet deadlines.

-       Ability to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects.
