I got this little dude with the intentions of saddle breaking him in the next couple months for my 11 year old. However, when receiving him he was so Malnourished and sooo skinny that my bf and I weren?t sure he was going to even make it through the night. Out of sheer amazement he made it. So I put off training him and we just worked on gaining weight, he WAS infested with tape worms ect. He has received three. He WILL NEED his teeth done as I haven?t gotten around to it yet: I am having to make this heart breaking choice to sell him as I am moving to lloydminister. He (Solider) is in between the rapid city and rivers turn off going north out of Brandon. He has gained so much weight from the summer and he is still gaining! He hasn?t had his feet done in abit so he will need them done. Other than that he is a calm pony when after being trained I think he would make an exceptional kids lesson horse: he is 14.3 and MIGHT get a bit taller: but his character is calm though with putting weight on and becoming healthier he?s gotten more spunk to him. He has come a long way with coming out of his shell and my kids leading, tying, brushing, and simply just taking him for walks like a puppy. Note- please don?t waste my time, no tire kickers, and serious inquiries only, a deposit to hold him will be requested as I?m sure some have experienced it and you hold for two or however weeks and then no show. I am going to be VERY picky with where he goes as he is still gonna need some-little more weight gain and his teeth will need to be done. If you can?t pay for the price of the horse, then you can?t pay for his teeth, ect. This is just my point of view but I?m sure some will understand. I am asking 1200.
