ADMIN ASSISTANT - TERM

Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a positive team environment that provides growth and opportunity? Alliance Accounting Group is seeking an Admin Assistant for an approximate 14-month term position at their Brandon Location. We are looking for a dynamic individual to assist in the daily operations of our office. This position is a vital role in providing administrative support to the organization and works closely with the other administrative assistant to ensure administrative efficiencies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Greet clients, provide assistance, answer phones, receive mails and provide general customer service as they enter the office.
  • Create and prepare new client/corporate files when needed, closely following multi-step procedures to set them up in each program.
  • Schedule appointments/client meetings, draft written communication to clients including emails and formal letters
  • Track receivables, enter payments into deposit book and manage the deposit process.
  •  Order office supplies including paper supplies, water, coffee, etc. as needed.
  •  Schedule intake appointments when needed/requested.
  •  Print and assemble tax returns, including tracking client contacts and receipt of forms/payment
  •  Assist clients with signing tax forms Track green files for outstanding forms and payment.
  •  Prepare and send out Info Request packages for corporate year ends.
  • Administrative support to a variety of programs and projects including AgriStability, AgriInvest, Audits, Tax Information Returns, Incorporations/Rollovers, iFirm crosschecking. This includes scanning of documentation, tracking, and archiving

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Preference given to individuals with Business administration certificate, diploma or degree.
  • Over 1 year of office administrative experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office programs.
  • Must be organized, with high attention to detail and can multitask amid frequent interruptions
  •  Friendly individual required and ability to create a welcoming environment for clients strong work ethic with particular attention to prioritization of projects in order to meet deadlines and critical thinking.
  •  Must be able to work overtime hours during tax season as needed.
