Administrative Assistant
The Rural Municipality of Prairie Lakes is seeking an energetic individual to join the administration team. Under supervision of the Assistant Chief Administrative Officer, the applicant will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties, including taking calls, correspondence, basic accounting, filing, accepting payments and billings.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
Qualifications / Duties / Responsibilities
3 or more years? experience in an administrative role; Competent handling front counter, telephone and email inquiries; Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment; Able to prioritize work to meet deadlines; Experience with Microsoft Office and other computer applications; and many other duties as assigned. Fluent in English (spoken and written), as the primary language.
Preference may be given to those with Municipal accounting knowledge, experience with Catalis Municipal Software and/or Neptune 360 systems.
