Engineering/CAD Technician
Springland Manufacturing is looking for an Engineering/CAD Technician to join our team.
Duties include:
-Work with Autodesk Inventor to prepare drawings and models of products and production equipment.
-Work with ERP Software to build bills of material.
-Support Design, Product Development, Quality Control, Planning, Production and Sales Teams.
-Test physical and computerized drawings and prototypes for functionality, reliability and ease of manufacture.
-Research components, part suppliers and materials for suitability, durability and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
-Certificate/Diploma from an accredited CAD Technician program, or 2-5 years experience in 3D Parametric CAD or 2D CAD.
-Good command of written English in technical writing.
-Proficient in common office productivity software.
-Excellent planning and organizational skills.
-Quality Control background including problem solving and root cause analysis.
-Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities.
