CASUAL YOUTH WORKER
Are you someone who enjoys working with young people, creating fun experiences, and making a real difference in your community? The Shilo Military Family Resource Centre is looking for energetic, reliable, and caring individuals to join our Youth Programs team in a casual role supporting children and youth from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
This is a great opportunity for students, education assistants, recreation staff, or anyone interested in youth work, social services, or community programming.
What You?ll Do
Working alongside our Youth Programs team, you will:
? Support the planning and delivery of engaging youth programs on-site and in the community
? Help create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants
? Supervise and interact with youth through games, activities, and conversations
? Communicate with parents, staff, and supervisors to support program success
? Assist with set-up, clean-up, and daily program tasks
What We?re Looking For
? Experience working with children or youth in structured or recreational settings
? Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a positive attitude
? Ability to follow direction while also being adaptable and proactive
? Valid First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
? Clear Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
? Valid Driver?s License is an asset

Compensation
? $16.25 per hour
? Mileage reimbursement available for travel over 16 km
