Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Chef at Clarion Hotel & Suites Brandon, located in Brandon, MB. The Executive Chef will oversee kitchen operations, manage food preparation, and ensure high-quality culinary standards. Responsibilities include menu development, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, managing kitchen staff, and overseeing food costs and inventory control. The Executive Chef will work closely with the management team to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
Qualifications
- Strong culinary expertise, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
- Kitchen management experience, including staff supervision, scheduling, and training
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
- Inventory management, cost control, and budgeting skills
- Ability to maintain high standards of quality and service
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Culinary certification or diploma is preferred, with experience in a similar role
- Experience in hospitality or banquet services will be an asset
