Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Pool & Spa Technician. While experience and relevant skills are valued, we are open to providing training for the right candidate. In this role, you'll be responsible for servicing and maintaining spas & pools, ensuring they are in excellent working condition for our customers during the busy season. During downtime, you'll also assist in the garden center, offering exceptional customer service and supporting with product displays and stock.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs, maintenance, and installation on pool & spa equipment
- Follow the delivery process, including loading, installation and return of materials
- Provide routine services such as repairs, pool opening, water testing/balancing and filter cleaning
- Utilize work order specifications and maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service, provide customers with guidance on proper pool & spa care and maintenance
- Provide relief as a Forklift /loader operator when required
Qualification & Experience Requirements
- Prior experience in spa or pool repair, installation of maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems required
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues required
- Possess a valid Class 5F Driver's license with ability to travel to outside communities
- Experience operating forklift/skid steer an asset
- Ability to lift and move equipment and products as needed
