Junior Land Analyst ? Brandon, Manitoba
Have a degree you?re not sure what to do with? This might be the career path you didn?t know existed.
Have you ever wondered what happens before a power line, pipeline, renewable energy project, road, or major infrastructure project gets built?
Before construction starts, there is a whole world of work that happens behind the scenes ? land research, mapping, agreements, permits, project tracking, landowner information, document preparation, and coordination between clients, project teams, and communities.
That is where Evolve comes in.
Evolve Surface Strategies is a right-of-way, land, environmental, and regulatory consulting firm that supports major infrastructure projects across Canada and the United States. Our Brandon team is growing, and we are looking for a Junior Land Analyst who is curious, organized, detail-focused, and excited to learn a specialized career in the land and right-of-way industry.
You do not need to know this industry on day one. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong attention to detail, and a genuine interest in learning.
This could be a great fit if you have a background or interest in:
- Agriculture or rural communities
- Legal administration, land titles, real estate, or planning
- Business administration or project coordination
- Research, writing, records, spreadsheets, and document control
- A university or college degree and you are still figuring out where it can take you
What you?ll do
As a Junior Land Analyst, you will work with experienced Evolve team members to support land and right-of-way projects. Your work may include:
- Preparing and organizing land and right-of-way documents
- Reviewing land information, maps, titles, agreements, and project records
- Supporting project teams with tracking, updates, reporting, and file management
- Assisting with third-party applications, agreements, and project coordination
- Helping ensure project information is accurate, organized, and moving forward
- Learning the systems, processes, and industry knowledge that support major infrastructure work
This is a role where the details matter. It is also a role where teamwork, communication, curiosity, and a willingness to ask questions matter just as much.
What we?re looking for
We are looking for someone who is:
- Curious and eager to learn
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working with documents, spreadsheets, maps, and project information
- A strong communicator who enjoys being part of a team
- Able to manage changing priorities while keeping track of the details
- Professional, reliable, and willing to take ownership of their work
- Open to coaching, feedback, and learning a new industry from the ground up
Previous Land Analyst experience is not required. Exposure to agriculture, legal documents, land, real estate, planning, or administrative coordination would be considered an asset.
Why this is a great opportunity
Right-of-way is one of those careers many people do not know about until they are in it ? but once you learn it, it can open doors across energy, utilities, renewables, transportation, telecommunications, environmental services, and major infrastructure.
At Evolve, you will have the opportunity to:
- Learn from experienced land and right-of-way professionals
- Support large-scale project work across Canada and the United States
- Build a specialized career in a growing industry
- Develop skills in land, documentation, project coordination, client service, and stakeholder support
- Be part of a team-focused company that values people, learning, innovation, and community impact
