Midwestern Redi-Mix, serves the southwestern Manitoba communities of Virden, Elkhorn, Melita, Deloraine, and surrounding areas. We service our customers with redi-mix concrete, sand, stone and gravel products, as well as other building materials. Midwestern is a division of Wheat City Concrete Products Ltd.
Crusher Labourer
We are currently looking for a crusher labourer to start immediately. This position would require daily travel, and start each day from either our Elkhorn or Virden location. Position would be seasonal, from spring-thaw (March), to freeze-up (December).
Skills and/or Qualifications
Candidate must hold a Class 5 driver?s license.
Experience in the aggregate processing, or heavy construction industry, would be considered an asset.
Experience operating a wheel loader, would be an asset.
Physically fit, and the ability to work long hours (up to a 12 hour work day).
Ability to follow instructions, and work alone and with a team.
What We Offer
Competitive wage, $25.00-32.00 per hour, varies depending on qualifications and prior experience.
