About the Position
We are looking for a hardworking and dependable Concrete Carpenter?s Helper to join our construction team. This is a hands-on position working alongside experienced crew members to build, set, strip, and maintain concrete forms on a variety of construction projects.
The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, is willing to learn, works well as part of a team, and is comfortable working outdoors in a physically demanding environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist crew members with building, setting, and stripping concrete forms
- Measure, cut, assemble, and move lumber and other forming materials
- Help with layout and preparation of concrete formwork
- Load, unload, and organize materials and tools
- Operate basic hand and power tools under direction
- Assist with bracing, shoring, and securing forms
- Help prepare work areas for concrete placement
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
- Remove debris and excess materials from work areas
- Perform other construction-related duties as directed
Qualifications
- Previous construction or concrete experience is an asset, but willing to train the right person
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools
- Physically capable of lifting and handling construction materials
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Valid driver's license
- Own transportation to the jobsite

Physical Requirements
