I haven't been on ebrandon a whole lot lately. I posted a 'wanted' ad last week and all was the same as before. However, I attempted to place a 'for sale' ad today and no matter which category I chose, I got a notice saying the category I chose had a cost to place ads.  
Is this the case for placing ads on ebrandon now?

There is no change And zero plans for any change. 
Charges are only associated with Real Estate for Sale ads, Job ads and Service ads. If you were directed to a payment page it will have been because you chose one of the optional feature ad upgrades.
