So my eldest son is wanting to pursue a career in security (wow that really dates me doesn't it?). He has looked online and is having trouble getting answers on how to go about doing it. I am wondering if anyone who has become a licensed security guard can give some insight on how to do this? Thankyou in advance (FYI he will be calling ACC tomorrow, but I thought I'd try here for today) thankyou

If he is interested in working for a company like Paladin, all he has to do is apply and if he passes the interview they will put him a course with a test at the end. If he passes he is good to go, if not well he needs to look elsewhere.

I don’t think I would use paladin as a career as they do lots of short term security, for career I’d probably try Commissionaires or protective services as they have better hours and benefits to offer and not jumping from site to site
