All of the previous advice is quite sound, especially Simonwalcal's. With our current work environments, finding as much of a balance as possible is key. Work to live, not live to work as they say. I know several people who yes, took pay cuts by changing their jobs or working fewer hours, but they really are happier for it.
Work usually sucks no matter where you go or what you do, but if your job is having such an impact on you that you are struggling to sleep, that isn't a very good sign, and in fact you should take action to make a change.
Something that hasn't been mentioned yet is that maybe you could try and change your perspective a bit and try to find ways that you can have fun at work. I am fully aware that this is much easier said than done, and depending on how much disdain you have for your job/how jaded you are, it might be impossible. Some bosses and coworkers will make this hard but at the end of the day if you aren't able to find ways to laugh, you will have a miserable time, no matter the job.
