So I have to safety my vehicle to make sure it’s safe on the road, and it has to fit what the government deems fit for vehicles to drive. Any damage to your vehicle, ANY damage done to your vehicle on Manitoba roads really any roads cost you money, at least $200 deductible if you can afford the extra on your insurance, they make you pay insurance on your vehicle, pay extra if you want better premiums.  
But the government does not want to pay for good roads, yes we have winters(we are in a new generation , can’t we find better ways to build roads) even in the summer roads are awful, I spent myself $5000 last year on my vehicle due to roads, i payed out of pocket because If you make a claim your insurance rates to increase, so MPI gets more money and that’s if they decide it’s there fault or your fault, normally it’s all your fault , MPI tells us not to swerve on the roads due to animals etc, hitting a pot hole and busting a rim, damaging your vehicles drive train or body- this is ok for the government.  
Oh well I guess right

Will they get better any time soon? The .14 tax that has been taken off gas for the next 6 months is what paid for those road repairs. Close to $100 million dollars out of that budget. Where will that money be made up? Is there some magic surplus somewhere that will make up that difference. According to the new government apparently not...the deficit is worse than they expected.  
So where will this money be made up...Open up your pockets my friends...because you might not be paying it at the pump right now...but you will pay it somewhere down the line, somewhere.  
No...that .14 didn't ever change. it was that tax no matter what the price of gas is. .14 if gas was $1.00 or $10.00.  
Just going to throw out another question here...if Hydro rates are froze for ??3 years...what happens after that 3 years. Personally, 3-4% yearly makes that increase easier on my pocket than a jump of 8-10% (maybe more) after that freeze is lifted.  
No matter who is in power, no matter where the cuts come...that money is coming from somewhere and my guess is this government is going to take it from ME one way or the other.  
And before everyone bites back I get that all governments take taxes. I am looking for an explanation about what happens when the freeze is lifted and where the other money will be made up.

After the horrifying accident just outside of Carberry demonstrated, that intersection at #1 and #5 should have been an interchange years ago as should #1 and #16. After a little google mapping, here is an interesting find. The Provence of Manitoba (a have not Provence) has about 16 interchanges or cloverleaf's, mostly in Winnipeg and a few north of Winnipeg. The Provence of Quebec (also a have not Province) has too many for me to even count. The city of Quebec City, about 2/3 the population of Winnipeg, and half the population of Manitoba, has 36 interchanges. This is In one city alone. Manitoba is on it though, in 20 years there WILL be an interchange at #1 and #5.  
WHERE DOES ALL OUR MONEY GO????
