Did you choose Brandon or did it choose you?

Curiosity has gotten the better of me this morning.
I have to wonder why a person chooses to live where they do or if they choose at all. Maybe it's just a matter of where they are born and they never leave.
I'm interested in anyone wanting to share their story or point of view as to why they are in Brandon.
Are you a lifer, and totally at home here or is this just a layover for you? What keeps you here or what makes you want to run screaming in the other direction?
