Feeling Nostalgic

I was busy baking up some bread,buns and cinamon buns and as I was placing in the pans to rise, I found myself saving some of the raw dough as I had just had a childhood memory of hot deep fried bread dough with butter and corn syrup on top...we used to call these scons when growing up. Enjoying one now....the first i have had in probably 35 years....mmmmmm Has anyone else been feeling nostalgic lately?
