anyone knows what is the bad smell along some streets area in Brandon at first I thought it was in one area only I was but now more and more area in the last 1 week or 2 it is in more different locations. It is only few seconds as you by but it stinks

Is it related to the aphid droppings under the trees. I say this because I am seeing dark rings on the roads from the aphid droppings.

How long do these aphids last?

I didn't think aphids left that much "droppings" I know the trees will drip sap due to the infestation of aphids. I'm finding there's more of a strong dog poop spell closer to certain houses - mainly those with dogs. It's super hot during the day and I don't think some pet owners are that responsible to clean up after their dog in their own yards. I know if I stand on my deck in my back yard and a breeze is carried from the north (there's 2 houses next to mine that both don't pick up after their dogs) you just get a sickening smell of hot dog poop. But if I go to my car on the street which is thickly coated with sap or what you guys are saying is aphid droppings - there's no smell. I go to the next block where I know dogs are outside 70% of the time and again nothing but a horrible hot dog poop smell. This city is getting worse for bad smells. It shouldn't be called the wheat city any more - it's dubbed a new name called "stink city!" How gross!

It's Aphid droppings. I agree with you that it is gross.
