What are Epoints? What can one use them for? Can you lose them? Whats the scoop?

In short, they're nothing  
Just a fun gauge of participation in various site activities ... I.e. Posting an ad, posting a reply to a discussion, starting a new thread

Don, I always enjoy your posts! This one was no exception hahaha!!

I have a couple ideas as to how they could possibly be used....  
 
Maybe if you get so many you could get a change in font with your profile name and information  
 
a title or label under your profile saying "bronze, silver, gold, platinum poster"  
 
a personalized quote under profile information  
 
I know you cant have a profile picture unless its a pic of your self, but maybe you could earn some preset images to have as your profile pic, maybe some landmarks of Brandon and area, or some kind of friendly emoticon, local hockey team logos, or even something that changes with the season or holiday instead of just a faceless mannequin.  
 
button to have others users positively (I could see a negative feature could be taken advantage of) rate your post  
 
Just some ideas I figured i''d throw out there.

Thx for taking the time to put the thought in... will take another look at this part of the site when making a future update!

Too bad we can’t turn epoints into Bitcoin right now...

Is there a way to view who has the most points, like a leaderboard? Why distribute points if there isn't a bit of competition? lol!

I kind of like some of these ideas! Avatars, fonts, leaderboard!
