None Of The Above Option On Ballot...

Pallister had every right to endorse Stephen Harper, just the same as any other leader of a provincial party would have the right to endorse the federal party leader. A lot of Canadians, myself included, voted for Stephen Harper and still would if a federal election were called today, and yes, I know he's no longer the party leader. I liked Stephen Harper as Prime Minister and for the most part, I liked the federal Conservative government. That doesn't necessarily mean that I'm going to vote for the provincial Progressive Conservatives though.
In another thread there were comments on federal spending by the new government. Their supporters voted for them, knowing that they were planning to deliberately run deficits and then somehow magically pay them down in time for the next election. I doubt that they will be able to eliminate their deficit, but we will see. While I didn't and wouldn't vote for Justin Trudeau and the Liberals, for now, I'm willing to give them a chance unless they do something completely outragous. Ask me what I think in five years.
Right now we are being asked to choose between a party and leader who lied to us about not raising the PST and then doing just that and a party, who under a former leader, lied to us about not selling MTS and then going ahead and selling it just a short time later. It's hard to forget being lied to, having promises made and then deliberately broken and what's more, why should we? Speaking of Hydro, we all know that our electricity rates are going to go "through the roof" over the next five or ten years, in order to try to recover some of the costs of the ridiculous Bipole 3 debacle. The fact that the lines are being run along the wrong side of the lakes is an attempt by Sellinger and the NDP to try to appease environmental activists/lobbyists and gain favour from the United Nations at the same time, all at our expense. So, am I voting PC? Maybe. I could vote for the provincial wing of the Liberal Party I suppose, but since I didn't feel confident enough to vote for the federal Liberals, I don't know why I would vote for their provincial counterpart.
I could go and on with the things that I'm unhappy with in Manitoba and who, which politician/party, I blame, but I won't. At this point, I may or may not vote at all. I may vote for one of the major parties or I may give my vote to some small party that doesn't have a hope in hell of winning even one seat. I will say that it is high time that we had a "None of the Above" choice on every ballot.
