Any one had the procedure in Brandon? Who did you go to? Worth It? Healing time? Any info would be great

Had it done at lasik MD in Winnipeg and was the best decision ever. I had consults both in Brandon and Winnipeg and preferred the Winnipeg business. Healing time wasn’t bad I think maybe a couple weeks and you need to go for a few checkups in the first year. Cost around $3700 and was so worth it! I don’t know anyone who has ever regretted their decision.

Yes if you have the money go for it I got mine done in WPG 20 years ago they offered two different kinds, I got the more expensive procedure because they said it wouldn't affect my night vision as badly, its never been an issue since it was done with any aspect of my vision really, still don't need glasses except for reading it doesnt fix that mine wasnt great when I had mine done and they told me I would probably need them after and I did, The operation is gross but doesnt take much more than ten minutes and you don't feel a thing I did need Tylenol after the freezing wore off but only a few days it was more irritating than painful a couple months of saline drops to keep the eye moist during healing and Ive never regretted since being free from glasses in my case a very strong prescription was life changing just waking up and being able to see what time is on the clock is worth it.

I've been wanting to get it done but haven't yet. As far as I know though you cant get the procedure itself done in Brandon, just your pre and post op consultations.

in November. Can't say enough good things for Dr. Rocha and his staff. I had gotten to where I was finding it difficult to read. I had worn corrective lenses for better than 50 years and now, nada. What a Xmas gift.  
 
I still find myself looking for my glasses when I get up, lol.
