Starting a family .. Brandon doctors?

I’m relatively new to the Brandon area, we don’t have a family doctor or anything here. Wanting to start a family soon so hoping to get some recommendations or ideas on how to even choose a good doctor & wether or not there’s any availability to take on new patients? No idea where to start.. thanks!

Call around to the clinics and see who is accepting patients. A good number of family doctors do not deliver their own patients though so you will just end up referred to an ob gyn anyways. I would recommend Dr. Helms. Or you can also go the route of midwife. This is more difficult here in Brandon as there are so few of them.

That's what I did at Brandon Clinic by hospital
got a doctor in about 2 week wait or just call the clinics and ask the receptionist "

I was put on the list almost a year ago and I’m still waiting to hear back.. Maybe I’ll try the link below to see if I have better luck!

Dr. Duncan at the Brandon Clinic near the hospital is one of the best... He has been my Dr. since 2006 and I would not think of switching,, Hes knowledgeable, pleasant, and always listens to your questions....

Dr Duncan isn't taking new patients.

Definately try the 'doctor finder' program.
