So I have yoyoed with my weight for years. Until recently I’ve had good luck just watching what I ate and cut back where I’ve needed to.  
However, I feel like I need a little help. I looked into weight watchers recently. ItsWOW! The price is insane. I know I’m investing in my health but don’t know if I can justify 24 bucks a week. If you commit to 3 or 6 weeks you get a discounted rate. I’m wondering if current members could tell me what’s it like now. I joined weight watchers like 8-10 ago and still have all the stuff. But I’m wondering has it changed much since then and is it worth joining or just following on my own.. ?? I’m sure my literature is outdated but I’m thinking Fat is fat. It doesn’t change what you have to do to lose it!

$24 /week sounds way off unless I'm on some kind of promo, I think I pay about $30/month.  
 
I don't follow it religiously, I probably should, but so far it has definitely helped me cut down on my bread and ice cream consumption lol  
 
I'm down about 35 pounds since december but I've still got a ways to go

Do you go to meetings or just online?

I looked at all that?? I’m just wondering if the program has changed much over the years. Month to month it’s like 90 bucks I think. I remember when it was like 8 bucks a week. Just looking for others experience with meetings and online only.

I go to the meetings, but the more I think about it I'm pretty sure I signed up for a 6 month block when it was on sale a while back for something like $180/6 months.  
 
Once that runs out it sounds like I will be in for a price shock again lol
