Recently I have noticed an advertisement on CTV for weightlossgrants.org. After a little research it seems that, basically, you set out to loose 20+ pounds within a set amount of time and you are automatically approved for the grant, up to $2500. Of course this sounds too good to be true so I'm wondering if anyone in the community has applied or had experience with this.

How they work

You have to front the cost of the approved program you choose. Then, as long as you loose your weight by the set goal time, you'll be reimbursed.

A similar but easier and legitimate way to lose weight is dietbet. You pay the game price and if you lose the weight, you win your money back plus more.
