I squirt a bit of my foaming face wash in the palm of my hand, lather up my brush in it, then rinse until the water is clear. I gently squeeze all the water out, reshape the bristles, and lay on a paper towel to dry. I do this for every brush. Don't get the area of the brush where the bristles attach to the handle wet, you'll ruin your brush.
