Wondering if anyone has experienced this? Causing severe vertigo that isn’t going away. Started with a cold and then had a bad vertigo attack. What worked for you? How long did it last?

Very sorry to hear what you are going through. I deal with Vestibular migraines and Meniere's Disease but am not very familiar with Vestibular Neurosis. Can I ask if your diagnosis was professional or self? I only ask as I have found the Canadian health care system somewhat under informed on vestibular issues.

Epley maneuver for vertigo

I had vestibular neuritis about 12 years ago as diagnosed by a Neurologist at HSC in Winnipeg. Was told their was really no cause in my case other than an inflammation in nerve from inner ear to the brain. I suffered very severe vertigo at the time. Was told to take gravol for the nausea which certainly helped. No other medications were recommended only rest and time. As I recall I was free of symptoms after six to eight weeks and had no relapse

She is a doctor from the states and has a you tube video showing how to do a head moving technique.  
I have had vertigo for years and this technique is the only way it makes it go away. I also use half of a gravol to get rid of the nausea that comes with it. I have tried various meds and they don’t seem to work for me either.

Mayur Nankar at West-Fit Physio has an excellent background in vestibular studies. I've found his treatments very helpful.
