    Which one to take? Citrate, oxide.. there are many.

    Magnesium chloride (Ancient Minerals) flakes, made into an oil by mixing with water. It is sprayed & rubbed onto the skin.  
     
    There are no side effects internally unlike taking magnesium by mouth.
