If your doctor says something like that then get another opinion. QUICKLY!!! I had endometriosis riddled through my entire body & 30 some-odd years ago had to have a complete hysterectomy (uterus + ovaries). I started with HRT but then there was that research showing a link between HRT & heart disease so my GP stopped the HRT. Quite frankly, looking back, I think I should have continued HRT regardless of the possible heart problems because of the OTHER issues stemming from the complete hysterectomy!! Life is sometimes not very pleasant to put it mildly. Also, Alzheimer disease runs in the family & I'm next so I'm making a concerted effort to die of something other than dementia so the possible heart disease looks like a much better way to go!!
