Is a great retirement park for those who can still live alone. Community centre and monthly activities.

The Summit is a new life lease community (55+) on the North Hill. There are still a few suites available. The building has underground parking, modern finishes and great views of the city.

If you are looking at Assisted Living there are three places in Brandon - Rotary Villas, Riverheights Terrace and Victoria Landing.

All three places offer similar services at good value. There are slight differences at each place, if you take a tour it is easy to find the right fit for your family member.

Village Green, Lions Manor and Hobbs Manor are nice too

This is not a 55+ building, but alot of the residents are seniors or middle aged. It's a great place to live, it has a common room where social gatherings are held and coffee days where you can be as social as you want to be. They are also across the street from Superstore, a bank, a restaurant in the building and a block away. Check it out.

Many small communities outside the city of Brandon have great facilities many with medical clinics and pharmacies to accomodate such needs. The cost of living in such suites is affordable and homecare visits can be arranged through the health authority or private companies. Communities such as Rivers, Hamiota, and Shoal Lake to name a few have these great facilities and if you are unsure of who to contact in the towns I'm sure the local municipal office would be happy to point you in the right direction. These are great places with many of the facilities also offering the opportunity to participate in organized activities and local grocery delivery service as well as meals on wheels and other organized meal programs!

Carberry is only 25-30 minutes east of Brandon and is a nice community with lots to offer. There are new units presently being built that would be great for this.
