Does anybody know how much the on call dentist would charge extra? I have had a painful toothache for days and nothing is helping with the pain now.. of course happens when the offices are closed please help

Couple years ago a filling fell out, very painful for some reason, went to the dentist on call, was no extra than seeing my regular dentist.  
Now think I can remember what dentist NOPE sorry. Don't know what you need done to ur tooth but doesn't hurt to ask what the estimate will be. Do u have orgel ?(sp)  
I rinsed with baking soda rite away and the dentist told me that kept the tooth from getting infected which would have cost more if there was an infection. Salt or 3 percent peroxide is fine also if u don't have baking soda. Depending when u get in , who knows, but if takes couple or few days, please rinse at least 3times a day.

Did you try calling your dentist? They might have info re: on call/emergency dentist on their answering machine.

The emergency dept will have a list of what dentist is on call. Not sure if they will tell you over the phone, or if you have to go in and be seen though.
