For anyone who has gotten any type of dental work done recently or regularly, what place is your go-to?  
 
I'm particularly interested when it comes to anyone without dental insurance. What are the costs, and how are they typically handled? Lump-sum or payments? Financing?  
 
That sort of thing.

I used to go to Crocus dental centre (Thomas Mall) and they merged with the dental office that was in the Town Centre - the old CKX building was renovated and both dental practices relocated there last year under the new name (Precison Dental).  
 
Dec 2019 I had a dental visit there with a dentist assessing my minor toothache and they took an X-ray - cost was $70.  
 
A week later in early Jan 2020 I had an old filling drilled out and a new one put in - cost was $206.  
 
My annual dental visit which i:ncludes cleaning, fluoride treatment and check by a dentist cost me $230 last June.  
 
I really like my dentist and personally consider these costs to be reasonable.  
 
I have never had dental insurance so I pay all the costs - pay by credit card. Have no idea about payments or financing.

Mind travelling outside the city, Virden Dental clinic (Dr Wahab and Dr Whitby) is reasonably priced and standard of care is awesome. Check/clean etc $130, New denture $400, X-ray $40. Also have never used insurance, always pay as required. Found them to be much better than much higher priced clinics and less reoccurrence of issues.

It looks like Smiles dentistry does payments/ financing based on their website. I haven't been to a regular dentist there, just a periodontist.

I would go to Prairie life Dental in Virden

is the only place to go. They are simply the best. I have gone there for years and have never ever had a problem with anything.
